The Way Through: Focus on Others to Help Yourself

Have you ever taken a moment to think about why you’re doing what you’re doing? I mean, who it’s actually for, who you are serving? And who do you have around you that you can trust?

Take a minute and pay attention to your answers because it’s the key to overcoming fears, problems and most anything that gets in your way.

This week on The Way Through, I had the honor of sitting down with Lt. Col. Waldo Waldman;  a decorated fighter pilot who flew missions all over the world. Today he’s a businessman, keynote speaker and leadership expert for some of the biggest companies out there.

He may be a decorated fighter pilot with 65 combat missions and 2,650 flight hours, but he was never flying solo. If you haven’t checked out his book, he’s the author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller Never Fly Solo®. His missions taught him everything he needed to know about overcoming fears and surviving and he found all the lessons learned can be applied to business and life, which he now shares around the world.

This episode is packed with incredible insights, which you’ll have to watch to learn them all, that we can and should take on in our own lives and businesses. The least of which is performing despite the fear. You may feel paralyzed, you may be full of anxiety and doubt, any warrior is when they go to battle. But it’s the ability that despite that fear to stay in the moment to continuously perform and serve and get the job done.
